♥ You will always be remembered in our hearts ♥
Jia Po, thank you for being our dearest smiley grandma,
and giving births to our mums/dads.
It was hard on you to raise 9 of them up alone
after grandpa has passed away,
when mum was in her teen years.

Though there is langauge barrier between us
but I know that you always pray (in hakka)
that my parents 好好,
and we, 3 sisters, 好好.
Your short, simple prayers were much appreciated.
Before you fell sick & dignosed with cancer etc,
you would usually cook 擂茶 for us
when we have gatherings on sunday.
That was when we kids, would take turn to pound a mix of tea leaves
together with various roasted nuts, seeds and grains.
And I love playing with it.
After you were sick & had difficulties walking,
no more home-made 擂茶.
You started to love eating curry fish head;
once/twice a week and you never tire eating it.
I always pray that you can live another few more years,
and indeed, He answered my prayers.
You battled with illness and survived for 11 years.
For the past 11 years,
you went in and out of hospital several times.
Went into coma, lost memory and many other sickness occured.
The pains and sufferings you had undergo,
we might not be able to feel/know it;
for you didn't/could no longer express them out,
only sometimes there were tears in your eyes.
Now that the Lord has called you home,
you need not suffer anymore.
Life still goes on for us.
Just that we will miss your presence.
Miss shaking your warm hands
as you count from 1 to 10 in hakka;
the way you wave goodbye to us;

and many many more.
Goodbye Jia Po and till then,
we will meet again! (:
